Creative Corridors Coalition (CCC) celebrated a major milestone in 2025 with the completion of the Twin City Trail. The trail is multi-use path that runs along Salem Parkway in downtown Winston-Salem. Years of collaboration between CCC, the City of Winston-Salem, the North Carolina Department of Transportation, and the Federal Highway Administration led to the creation of this safe, connected, and beautifully designed trail. The project, supported by both public and private partners, reflected CCC’s mission to transform the city’s infrastructure through art, design, and community-driven innovation.
To celebrate this milestone CCC hosted the Walk & Roll Fest on September 13, 2025, at Truist Baseball Stadium. The community celebration drew hundreds of residents who participated in a 5K run, kids’ fun run, guided bike ride, and a leisurely walk along the new path. Participants enjoyed food trucks, local activities, and raffle prizes as they explored a new corridor designed to connect neighborhoods and create accessible public spaces.
