Join us on October 17, North Carolina’s annual Great Trails State Day, for a free expert-guided walk through historical and downtown Winston of about 1.5 hours with stops along the way. Participants will be able to select from two offerings:
Naturalist Guided Walk — Explore the trees, horticulture, and birds of our city.
Urban & Historical Guided Walk — Discover points of interest in Old Salem and downtown.

If you would rather explore Winstons’s urban greenways at your own pace, please stop by the Creative Corridors Coalition information booth at MUSE from 10 a.m.–12 p.m. to pick up a map and use the MUSE parking lot as a starting point for walking loops.
